The St. Albert Painters Guild will once again bring art to our city. Imagine a beautiful spring day, where you can safely and enjoyably view art by our talented artists. This time, we’re doing it from the outdoor spaces of our members’ homes - See List of Participating Artists.

Due to the pandemic this is a rare opportunity for many artists to show their work. And they’ve been working! This is a wonderful opportunity for the public too, whether you’re a collector or just curious.

You will be supporting local artists who will offer a wide variety of art styles, sizes, products and price points. In addition to paintings, you might also find cards, prints, and other art projects showcased and available for sale. The more artist locations you visit gives you more opportunities to win one of three paintings - See Raffle details.

Get in the car. Meet the artists in their environment, maybe even in your own neighbourhood. Engage with this expressive community about their process, inspiration and experience.
This is Art in the Open!

All artist display locations will have raffle tickets for you to fill out (see Terms)...the more locations you visit increases your odds.

A draw of three raffle tickets will be made soon after Art in the Open.  The first name drawn will have first choice, the second name drawn will choose from the remaining two options and the third name drawn will be gifted the remaining painting. Raffle Terms & Conditions

If the same name is drawn more than once (because each person taking the Art Tour has up to 34 chances to enter!), multiple draws of the same name will be put aside and another draw made until 3 different winners are drawn.  The order of names drawn will be adhered to as described above.

Name and phone number are mandatory on all raffle entries; email addresses are optional. Any slip without both a name and phone number will be discarded and a new entry drawn.

The draw  will occur soon after June 19th and prize winners will be contacted.

Contact information on raffle entries (name, phone number and email address) will be kept private and will only be used for purposes of contacting a winner regarding their prize.  SAPG would like to send one email to everyone who provides an optional email address in order to share a survey for feedback about Art in the Open. Contact information provided on the raffle slips will not be shared, sold or added to an external eList.
