Artist Biography

Sue was introduced to painting by her mom. They took oil painting classes together in Drumheller, Alberta, while Sue was in high school.
Sue's love of painting has continued to the present day. She has enjoyed learning from many people, taking classes and interacting with fellow artists. Exploring oil, watercolour and, most recently, acrylics have brought her great joy and have taught her to view the world with an artist's eye.

Artist Statement

To paint is to enter a world of colour and light. I love to interpret the world around me, presenting it as I see it.
