Artist Biography

I am essentially a self taught artist and have taken several courses at the Senior Centre.

Artist Statement

For years I felt comfortable in a black and white pencil medium environment. Today I work in a multi-media environment with colour in acrylic, water colour, pencil, and oil. I am attempting to explore the movement, textures, and colour each medium provides in my compositions to capture the emotions of everyday scenes that are evoked, demonstrating the power of colour. In many respects I might be considered a "colourist".
