Dolly Bolen’s Zentangle Inspired Art (ZIA) "Jasper Tangled" won Honourable Mention in the Advanced category at the Allied Arts Council of Spruce Grove 2015 Open Art Competition. She took a photo of the view from the Jasper Skywalk in 2014 then later used the photo as inspiration for this ZIA. This composition was created on Watercolour Paper.
“Rose Opus” is another example of ZIA using a photo. Dolly took a photo of a rose from her garden, which inspired this composition on an Opus 10.5” x 10.5” Zentangle Tile.
